Computers, laptops and other smart digital screen devices have brought so many enhancements into our lives. Nowadays while studying or working, most of us spend several hours in front of screens. If you spend a major part of a day in front of a screen, your eyes get itchy, dry and tired. It can harm your sight. If you feel your eyes get dry, fatigued and irritated then you have Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). Computer Vision Syndrome is also known as Digital eye strain. It is the manual eye discomfort due to spending two or more hours in front of the screen. 1. Accommodate the Height of Screen
Adjust the height of the screen accordingly to maximize eye comfort. Adjust the screen in that way the top of the screen should be in a straight line to our sight.
2. Modify the Display Setting of the Screen
Modify the display setting to decrease the eye strain and fatigue. Adjust the brightness with the brightness of the surrounding workstation. It is beneficial to lower down the eye strain and eye fatigue.
3. Eye Examination
Eyes of that person who works on the computer must be examined once in a year. Measure the distance between the screen and eyes and inform the ophthalmologist.
4. Color Temperature
The blue light has shorter wavelengths. The blue light causes more strain to the eyes as compared to orange and red color. These colors have longer wavelengths. Decrease the color temperature of the screen; this will decrease the blue light of the screen. It helps to lower down the eye strain.

During working on screen give them a break of 20 seconds after every 20 minutes.
