Abstract
A rectal polyp term is used when polyp formation occurs in the rectum (a part of the large intestine). It is usually not cancerous but when it grows over time it can turn into cancer. Then it becomes a more serious condition. For the management, another system of treatment only recommends transanal excision and surgery. Introduction
A polyp is an abnormal tissue growth from a mucous membrane. When a polyp (small lump) is growing from the lining of the large intestine (including colon or rectum), it is known as Colorectal Polyps.
There are two main types of polyps i.e. non-neoplastic and neoplastic. Non-neoplastic polyps include inflammatory polyps, hyperplastic polyps, and hamartomatous polyps. These are asymptomatic and never become cancerous.
Neoplastic polyps include serrated and adenomas types. These polyps are at a greater risk to become cancerous. However, a small percentage of polyps can develop slowly and turn into rectal cancer in 8–10 years. In asymptomatic, average-risk cases of patients, the prevalence of adenomas is about 10% in sigmoidoscopy testing and over 25% in colonoscopy testing, while the colorectal cancer prevalence in those patients is less than 1%.(1)

Symptoms of Rectal Polyps
Rectal polyps are usually do not appear symptoms. But when occur it includes:

Diagnosis of Rectal Polyps
