Ayurvedic Management Of Scleritis With Herbal Remedies

Abstract

Whitish part of the eye is known as the sclera. The sclera is a layer of tissue that protects the rest of the eye part. When sclera is inflamed then this condition is known as scleritis. The sclera acts as cushions for the rest of the eye parts. It covers most of the eyeball. It expands from the cornea to the optic nerve (Anterior to posterior). The main properties of the sclera are to maintain the shape of the eyeball and protect it from any external injury. Conjunctivitis is the layer that covers the sclera. Conjunctivitis helps in closing or opening the eye and also helps in the lubrication of the eyeball. So it is important to maintain a healthy sclera for the overall health of the eyes. In this article, we are going to discuss scleritis, its ayurvedic treatment, and also its ayurvedic point of view.
