Abstract

Introduction

Nirjal, nirana, and nirlavana chikitsa is indicated for jalodara in Ayurveda texts. That means treatment involves strict non-consumption of water, salt, and food, which may hinder the management. Ayurveda offers surgical management for jalodara along with medicinal management (Herbal diuretics).
