How to Treat Fistula in ano Naturally Without Surgery

ABSTRACT

Fistula in ano is an abnormal hollow tract lined by granulation tissue having two openings around anal region. Fistula means reep or pipe like. The primary opening is in the peri anal region and another secondary opening in the peri anal skin. Secondary tracts may be multiple which extend from the same primary opening.

This disease may remain silent for months without symptoms or trace of discharge may persist without any inconvenience. Sinus can be differentiated from fistula as only one opening is present in sinus. It is an abnormal connection between epithelial surfaces. Mostly fistula begins in deep glands in the wall of rectum or anus and sometimes fistula occurs after drainage of perianal abscess. In this article we will know the Ayurveda point of view regarding fistula in ano known as .

INTRODUCTION

Fistula-in-ano is a chronic granulating tubular tract consisting of fibrous tissue with two openings one in peri anal skin and other in anal canal. In this disorder there is pain and swelling around anal region. The patients with fistula are common in adults of 30-40 years of age. The incidence rate is more in males as compared to females. Usually the result of infection near anus causes collection of pus in nearby tissues. As pus drains off it leaves behind a channel like structure. Mostly it occurs due to anal gland infection.
