Abstract
Kidney disease in dogs is a serious problem, Kidneys of dogs function same as Kidneys of humans. Disease occurs in the kidneys, also produces some other dysfunctions like: if the kidneys don’t work properly then the waste product builds up in the blood. It impacts on the body balance. In Ayurveda the disease in dogs is due to the aggravation of Vata and Pitta dosha. Introduction
As we all know that kidneys are the vital organ of the body in every mammal present on this earth. So if any type of abnormality occurs in the kidneys, whole body balance gets affected. This disease mainly has two types ie:

Diagnosis
- Blood test (for detection of abnormalities)
- Urine test (for detection of abnormalities)
- Physical examination ( to check the condition of the dog)
- Complete blood count – This test is used to detect the anaemia or an elevation of white blood cells
Management
The treatment depends upon the condition of the dog. In the acute stage of the disease the basic treatment includes fluid therapy, and when disease progresses dialysis and kidney transplant may also be included. Nutrition is the main ingredient
