Introduction
Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition of the skin where the epidermal cells are damaged by the altered keratinization and healthy skin is taken over by erythematous lesions and silvery plaques. Psoriasis involves both genetic predisposition including T-Cell mediated immunological mechanisms and the influence of genes of the Human Leukocyte Antigen Complex.
